STEP AND HEAL RECOVERY - COACHING AGREEMENT

This contract is made between Jessie Sidhu of Step and Heal Recovery Coaching, based in Toronto, ON, and [ CLIENT NAME ], in which Jessie Sidhu commits to delivering Coaching Services to the Client, focusing on the subjects/results/objectives specified in their Coaching Plan.

Coaching is an alliance—not a legal business partnership—between a coach and a client that encourages the client to reach their full potential on both a personal and professional level through  innovative and thought-provoking methods.    

ACCOUNTABILITY

  1. The Coach commits to upholding ethical principles and behavioral standards.
  2. The Client holds the responsibility for fostering and executing their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, including their decisions, choices, actions, and outcomes. Consequently, the Client acknowledges that the Coach shall not be held liable for any actions or lack thereof, nor for any direct or indirect consequences arising from the services rendered by the Coach. The Client recognizes that coaching is not a form of therapy and does not serve as a replacement for therapeutic intervention when necessary, nor does it prevent, cure, or treat any mental health conditions or medical issues.
  3. The Client acknowledges that coaching should not be regarded as a substitute for professional advice from legal, mental health, medical, or other qualified experts and agrees to seek independent professional counsel for such concerns. Should the Client be currently receiving care from a mental health professional, the Coach will advise the Client to inform their mental health provider.
  4. The Client agrees to engage in open and honest communication, remain receptive to feedback and support, and dedicate the necessary time and energy to fully participate in the program.

SERVICES AND PAYMENT

The parties consent to participate in a coaching program consisting of Individual Coaching Sessions. The Coach will be accessible to the Client via email and phone communication between the scheduled meetings as determined by the Coach. This agreement is legitimate as of START DATE. The price is $85.00 CAD in line with hour for character sessions, $375.00/ five sessions, and $725.00/10 sessions. Coaching Bundles and Individual Sessions have to be bought previous to scheduling appointments. Payments may be made by etransfer to [email protected] and Stripe. If rates change after or during this agreement is in process then the previous rate will apply

POLICIES

The timing of the coaching meetings and/or the location will be established by the Coach and Client based on a time mutually agreed upon. The Client will initiate all scheduled calls and will contact the Coach at the following number for all scheduled meetings: 416-897-4416. If the Coach will be using any different number for a scheduled call, the Client will be informed prior to the scheduled appointment time.

LIABILITY

The Client acknowledges that notifying the Coach at least 24 hours prior to a scheduled appointment or call is their responsibility. The Coach retains the right to charge the Client for any appointments or calls canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

The Client acknowledges that it is their obligation to attend scheduled appointments. If the Client fails to show up, the Coach has the authority to charge the Client for the missed session. Should the Client arrive late, the Coach will wait a maximum of 20 minutes before considering the appointment as missed, and the Coach retains the right to charge the Client for this session.

Either party, whether the Client or the Coach, can dissolve this contract at any moment with one week’s written notification. Should the Client have outstanding fees when ending the coaching contract, complete payment is required.

CONFIDENTIALITY

This coaching relationship, along with all information (either documented or spoken) that the Client provides to the Coach during this relationship, is subject to confidentiality but it is not deemed a legally confidential relationship (as in Medicine or Law). The Coach agrees to keep any information about the Client confidential unless the Client provides written permission. The Coach will refrain from revealing the Client’s name as a reference unless the Client agrees. Confidential information excludes information that: (a) was already in the Coach’s possession before being provided by the Client; (b) is widely recognized by the public or within the Client’s industry; (c) is acquired by the Coach from a third party, without violating any obligation to the Client; (d) is created independently by the Coach without utilizing or referencing the Client’s confidential information; or (e) that the Coach must disclose due to legal obligations

DISCLAIMER

Client acknowledges that the Coach is not a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or healthcare provider, and that the services offered by the Coach are not a substitute for the care delivered by psychologists, psychiatrists, or other healthcare professionals. The Client understands that the Coach is unable to offer psychological, medical, or nutritional services and/or treatment that should only be administered by a licensed professional. Coaching does not serve as a replacement for psychiatry, counseling, or any other form of therapy and medical guidance.
